His prior work has looked at;

  • The development and implementation of long-form role playing scenarios as a way to explore nuanced topics without social repercussion (Dark Tempus)

  • Commensalism; reciprocal relationships between humans and animals prior to domestication

  • Exploring and contextualising the shifting reception of sex and sexuality through time, using the material record

  • Archiving; ways in which immersive technologies (photogrammetry, VR, etc) can be implemented in order to provide access to historical artefacts on a wider scale, including those in museum stores/private collections

  • Research as introspection; using genealogy to contextualise personal experience

  • Queer history; how it’s recorded, why it’s recorded, who it’s recorded by, and who it’s recorded for
